"Terms and Conditions..."

 

I love making Wooden Specs and want you to be happy with them!  There are just a few things you should know before ordering/buying a pair.

 

1) Customers have 14 days after delivery to return the frame for any reason (or no reason at all) for a full refund.  Just send them back in their case within 2 weeks of receiving them (please let Pete know that you are sending them) and you will receive a refund of your money (or you can try another one!).  Also know that you will not be held responsible for any breakage of the frame–if you trust us to order a frame, we will trust you to use reasonable care with it!

 

2) Wooden Specs Studio offers free repairs of the frame for your first year of ownership.  We consider repairs, if necessary, to be part of the inevitable evolution of a handmade item that takes on the tough job performed by eyeglass frames.  The more mindful you can be of the frame (especially using two hands putting them on and taking them off), the fewer repairs (if any) that will be necessary.  After the first year, repairs will be based on time and materials (we try to keep these costs as reasonable as possible–we want you to repair them and never throw them out!).  Please contact us before sending the frames for repair so we can be looking for them.

 

3) Because each frame is handmade individually, there will be some small variations from frame to frame.  We think that is part of the uniqueness and beauty of these frames compared to factory-made frames.   Again, you have 14 days to return the frame if your frame, as it comes out of the Studio, does not suit you.

 

4) Wooden Specs frames are not designed to be used as safety glasses and should not be used in situations where safety glasses are called for.
